I'm not a big supplement girl and I’m certainly not into anything extreme like the latest fad or a new elimination diet. In fact, as a health practitioner, I often get patients to take less supplement and we trim down the to-do list when it comes to their health.

But, there are a few key powerhouse tools I come back to again and again — in my clinic, my home, and my own health journey.

1. Magnesium — “Nature’s Tranquiliser”

Most Mummas are running low on magnesium, especially during stress (which… is most of us, right?).
It helps balance hormones, calm the nervous system, support sleep, and even reduce sugar cravings!

💡 Think of Magnesium as 'natural metformin', as it improves insulin sensitivity and balances hormones.

There's a number of different forms of magnesium and I prescribe a magnesium to match your needs. One of my favourite sources is a magnesium bigyinate - often 300mg a day.

 

2. Collagen — “Nature’s Botox”

We lose 1% of our collagen every year — meaning by the time you hit 50, you've lost nearly half. 😱
Collagen loss = sagging skin, wrinkles, joint pain… but here's the thing, a good collagen supplement can:
