2-Ingredient Scroll Recipe
Bet you didn’t know that you can literally make cheesymite scrolls and bacon + cheese scrolls in a few minutes at home?! It really is that simple.
These 2-ingredient scrolls are one of the easiest, healthiest and cheapest lunchtime options you can prep ahead for the week - such a great family food option.
And you can use any flour you’ve got in the pantry - gluten-free, wholemeal, white or my fave - spelt! Just add 1 teaspoon of baking powder per cup of regular flour so it rises!
2-ingredient scroll recipe:
Ingredients:
2.5 cups self raising flour
2.5 cups Greek yoghurt (Must be full fat unsweetened yoghurt)
Method:
1. Mix flour and yoghurt in a bowl
2. Flour the bench and roll the dough out and fill it with anything you want
Optional add-ins:
🧀 Add 1/2 cup grated cheese and a few tablespoons of Everymite (Vegemite alternative) for cheesymite scrolls
🥓 Add 150 grams of chopped good quality bacon/ham and 1/2 cup grated cheese for bacon + cheese scrolls
3. Roll it up and slice them. Then bake them on a baking tray in an oven on 180 degrees for about 20 minutes
